New Office Upgrade

So I built another computer and needed more desk space in my office. What to do.. what to do? I would need a table. I don't think I could have bought one for less than the $100 US that I spent on this. $60 of it was for the finish. I had the 34 inch by 8 foot piece of plywood and the two 7 foot long 2 x 4's I used for weight-bearing beams. I thought polyurethane would do the trick. Boy was I wrong! The perfect finish you see is the result of a composite epoxy-based "pour-on" finish. It's pure bliss! The stuff is made by EnviroTex and I had to buy a gallon of it to cover the table.

Enough on the table. I am pretty proud of myself.. On Sunday, August 26 I removed all the equipment from my computer room (we call it the "office") and hauled the nearly 100 pound table top upstairs. I'm still sore from that. I then mounted the legs and set everything up. A picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll shut up and you can just look at the pics below!
